Because that email has to go out right now

According to a recent study done by the Highway Loss Data Institute (HLDI), bans on texting while driving have not cut crashes at all, and in some states crashes due to texting have increased. “How does that even work?” you might ask. Good question. Apparently, now that it is illegal to text drivers have responded by trying to hide their phones while they text. This usually translates into the driver having to look down even further, increasing the chance of a crash.

Basically, texting bans have made texting even deadlier. Irony. What needs to happen? Do our state governments need to cut the ban? Perhaps we should ban drivers from looking down? Maybe texting should just be illegal in general? Let me know what you think.
